This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Every morning we start our day with our morning routines, we sing the days of the week and count down to the 100th day of school.
My school is located in the heart of Queens, New York.
We are an elementary Community School that houses General Education and Special Education programs. Our population is mostly composed of Hispanic youngsters. My students are General Education kindergarten children. My students are mostly of Hispanic descent, whose primary language is Spanish.
My Project
My classroom is located in a transportable, outside the main school building. Due to the lack of space, students have to keep their notebooks and supplies in a basket on top of their desk. The chair buddy provides storage space for their notebooks and supplies.
My students become easily distracted by having too many supplies on their desks, causing them to lose interest on the task at hand.
Having a chair buddy will allow students to have more work space to complete their assignments.
