My Project
This is my 15th year teaching in my building which has been there far longer than I. Unfortunately, it is older, has sustained storm damage, and recently water damage making the air quality somewhat poor.
A healthier environment is crucial for the well-being of students and staff.
Air purifiers significantly improve air quality by removing pollutants, allergens, dust, etc. It reduces respiratory issues and other problems linked to poor air quality. This is particularly important in areas like ours where air pollution is higher due to chemical plants.
Another huge benefit of using air purifiers in classrooms is the enhancement of focus and productivity. Research shows this. It also shows that students perform better academically and have better cognitive function with improved air quality. Many students suffer from allergies that can also be alleviated with a purifier. All our students deserve a place where they can get the best opportunities to develop and learn.
In addition to the purifier, I would like to grow my library starting by adding some interesting science books to keep my kiddos engaged as they enjoy a fresher start to their year!
