Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I adore my students' curiosity and their enthusiasm for learning. They're eager to explore new worlds, discover new ideas, and expand their horizons through reading.

By providing each student a book pouch, I hope to foster a love of reading both inside and outside the classroom.

The pouches will make it easy for students to carry their favorite books home, encouraging them to read independently and share their experiences with family and friends. This will not only improve their reading comprehension but also develop their critical thinking and communication skills.

Timers will help students set and achieve specific reading goals, promoting a sense of accomplishment and motivation. By tracking their reading time, students can learn to manage their time effectively, balance their studies with other activities, and develop their focus and concentration. My hope is that with this tool, it will help my students enhance their reading stamina and comprehension.

I am excited to see how these resources will help my students reach their full reading potential.
