My Students

My students attend a district in a small town in East Texas. They all share a love and passion for learning! Our district strives hard to provide our students with as many learning opportunities as it can, but with over half of my students coming from a low socioeconomic background the resources can be limited at times. My students enjoy and appreciate any and all learning opportunities they are given! My students come to me everyday ready to learn, and I strive to motivate them in as many positive ways as I can!

My Project

My students are new to learning to read. When learning to read you need a lot of exposure to books. With these leveled readers I will be able to provide my students with books that are on their individual levels as we meet in small groups to build upon what each students already knows or needs to work on. Most students will begin at a low level A and work their way up to a B as they develop new reading and decoding skills and learn new sight words. With your help my babies will be readers in no time!
