This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

These books and series of books are crucial to a child's development and fundamental skills in school. We set out time every day for students to go to the library mat and grab a book to read. Most of my children aren't at the stage where they can read the books, but even looking at the images in the books gives them a storyline and their imagination does the rest. My goal is for every child to be able to read by the end of the school year and with your donation we can make that possible!
