My Students

These are unfamiliar times and it is taking us through a lot of strange territories as teachers such as grief, sorrow, stress, and sickness. These are hard to fathom as we try to cope with the daily changes in our lives.

Never did I imagine that when my students and I said goodbye in March it would mean that it was our last day in the classroom.

These days all the students are at home as the teachers attempt to teach via Zoom or Microsoft Teams. They are unfamiliar with this new method and most of them are struggling to keep up.

My Project

I never imagined that I would find myself remotely teaching from home and that my students would be learning new materials through video conferencing calls and recorded home videos. We are charging forward and looking at it as a learning opportunity for all.

This advanced laptop included in this project will serve as a tool that I will use during zoom meetings to go over materials easily and to share charts during recorded lessons.

A good laptop is necessary to prevent interruptions and loss of saved works on line. I will also be able to use it with future classes in the classroom with the smart board.
