Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A good classroom environment helps create a more engaging and welcoming atmosphere for students. My classroom was just painted before school started and the math posters, motivational decals, green vine decors, and other classroom materials were damaged and thrown out.

The new decorations that we are hoping to get will be used to hang and put on the walls.

My students want to make it a hands-on project to make our math classroom their second home. They are excited to snazzy up our place, decorate the walls with poster and decals. and make the classroom more conducive to learning. Please help me give them the greenery vines, the lights that they specifically requested, inspirational posters, and a few succulent plants that they can grow and that can help them to become more responsible students.

Please also help us get essential oils and a diffuser to help boost our students' moods and behaviors in the classroom especially for the double-period math classes at the later periods close to the end of the day. These oils can help students maintain their focus. My kids love the different scents of essential oils, and they tend to be calmer and more focused when doing individual or group work when smelling specific essential oil scents.

My kids will take the lead in decorating our math classroom to make it their home! We cannot wait to decorate our classroom and make the room more inviting for this new schoolyear!
