My Students

My students are the youngest in the NYC DOE public school system. My 3-Kers are curious, eager, loving people deserving of the highest quality materials and resources in a classroom that feels like a home away from home.

My students love to gather together during circle time to sing, dance and learn.

My Project

According to the Reggio Emilia approach, behind educators and families, the third teacher is the environment—a setting designed to be not only functional but also beautiful and reflective of the child's learning.

Physical spaces hold the potential to influence what and how children learn.

In our classroom, rugs add a softness and coziness to our gathering area that is so important for our students. If your living room has a rug, you understand.

Our original rugs were removed from our classrooms when Covid hit, and were not yet returned. I am looking to bring in a much larger rug to accommodate for social distancing. My students will appreciate it!
