Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am lucky to still have the opportunity to teach my students remotely. They are in a Pre-K ICT classroom. They all have different learning styles which calls for a lot of differentiated instruction. They come from a low income neighborhood and do not always come to school ready to learn. I help them feel safe and heard in my classroom. Their opinions matter in how they learn and what they want to learn. They enjoy exploring different materials through play. For most of them, in school is their only time to explore play.

My Project

These materials will help me help my students organize their materials both at school and at home. I wish to give my students an organization because it will help keep their materials both clean and in the right place. Pre-K students need a lot of labels and visuals to help keep them organized. This will also help them with recognizing their names and their peers names.

The label maker, case and label refills will help create the labels needed for their at home and in school materials.

The Bulletin board paper will help bring out bright colors in the classroom to help display their work.
