Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is for students with disabilities. The disabilities range from autism to wheelchairbound, to multiple disabilities. Unfortunately, due to the severity of our students' needs, they don't typically get to experience events comparable to general ed students.

Students here have colorful personalities and are so loving.

Our site aims to create sensory experiences that speak to each need of the students and give them opportunities to participate in an event that their families could also partake in. I would love to be able to get assistance so they can have their very own Prom that meets their needs and create an experience they won't forget.
