My students need to feel at ease as they dive into their feelings. My job is unique as I am primarily a mental health counselor supporting students in special education, as well as in crisis. This may seem like a small thing, to provide comfortable seating with bean bag chairs, but in a vulnerable setting, it can be the world of a difference.
They need fidgets as they dive into their feelings and become vulnerable, but I have a smaller office.
The ottomans with storage space will allow me to store more fidgets for more choice and sense of control for my students.
