This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would like to have a basket with female hygiene sanitary pads for when they are menstruating. The basket will be kept next to the female bathroom pass so they can take the sanitary product. There will be privacy with enough coverage so they are not embarrassed for classmates to see. It will be in the other side of my cabinet where I will have the pass. Every day I have female students who do not have sanitary pads with them. Many times they have to go home for the day because they do not have the sanitary product. Having this available will alleviate my students from having to go to the office and calling to go home for the day and missing instructional time.
