Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students come to our self-contained special education prekindergarten classroom with a wide range of sensory needs. In working with an occupational therapist, we do our best to create a plan to meet all of those needs, or to provide our students with a balanced "sensory diet."

Frequently, we would realize a student need but not have the objects that can help meet that need, which can change with your support of this project!

Help us buy the supplies to meet all of the sensory needs of the young children who enter our classroom. These needs range from visual stimulation aids like a light up toy aquarium or proprioception supports such as body socks, weighted lap animals and weighted blankets.
