My Project

The Transitional Kindergarten (TK) experience is filled with many opportunities that promote independence and cooperation. I am requesting a dollhouse and furniture to help my students work together and build imaginative play.

Creating an opportunity for multiple students to access the dollhouse from all four sides will encourage students to engage in cooperative play for my 4- and 5-year-olds.

Students will be able to role play and use new vocabulary appropriate to their interactive experiences. They will also learn about each other and one another’s culture and home traditions. This will build background knowledge lending to their comprehension skills for reading and social studies.
