Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting materials to continue introducing my students to mental health maintenance and social emotional learning. Many of the resources included here are specifically for a calm corner, an area of my room fitted with a comforting rug, chair, and other toys meant to calm students down after any kind of stressor. I also included a laminator so that I can begin to print mental health related posters and laminate them for posting in my classroom.

Oftentimes I can identify the need for my 9th grade students to begin building their mental health and socio-emotional skills, these materials will help build a classroom culture of personal well-being.
