My Project

About 40 of our students have begun participating in our school's new garden club this year. Their first project is to clean up the existing garden space since it has sat unused for many years and has become overrun with weeds. Our students have been busy clearing out weeds throughout the past few weeks and are nearing the end of this laborious work. With the large number of students who have joined the club, we need additional gloves to protect their hands since many of our students do not have their own pairs to bring with them. Additionally, we would love to cover the area with a weed barrier once they are finished clearing it so their hard work does not go to waste before we plant in the spring.

Your help will support these students, who genuinely enjoy working in the garden and improving the space for our students' and our communities' future use.

We are impressed by their passion and dedication, mostly because this work is not easy. It has been a treat to watch this group, which consists of students in grades TK-5, work together to get the work done and have fun doing it!
