My Project

I teach Resource serving small group intervention from TK-5th grade. My students need to be able to move in their seats with the ability to swivel and rock; they also need to move between 2 work tables we use as centers. I switch constantly between grade levels, and right now chairs are either too big or too small, and picking out the right size can take away from valuable learning time.

I teach a diverse group of learners with varying needs, and this project will help students feel comfortable while they are learning.

Sensory dysregulation and classroom distraction can happen when kids are falling off wobbly stools or chairs that are not right for them. This project will help create a positive learning environment for all my students.
