My Project

My third graders are wonderful because they are blossoming with empathy, ready to take on independent challenges, and possess a deep, detail-oriented curiosity. They are an energetic and enthusiastic group that love learning. They encourage each other and are full of positivity.

To foster these qualities in a peaceful environment, resources must prioritize calm, quiet focus, and organization.

Privacy boards are vital, visually separating students during certain work times to reduce distractions and promote quiet self-regulation. Noise-canceling headphones provide an essential auditory shield, creating a personal "quiet bubble" for deeper concentration during complex tasks. Magazine racks contribute to organization by offering vertical, clutter-free storage for materials at our table groups, ensuring a peaceful workflow and easy transitions. Finally, a Teacher's Pay Teachers gift card is a key investment, allowing me to purchase a wide variety of high-quality materials that enrich our classroom environment and curriculum. It allows me to differentiate lessons that align with the various needs of the classroom.
