My Project

My students love to be active. It is important to keep them busy during recess and to incorporate movement throughout the day. My goal is to build self-confidence, have fun, and keep them moving.

I am asking for items that we can use outside and items we can use inside, especially on rainy days.

Which child does not love to play with a parachute or kick a soccer ball? Or ribbon wands for their imagination play? My goal is to get them playing, using their imagination, working together, and having fun. Our playground has limited space, which we share with four kindergarten classes. I want them to look forward to going outside and not want to sit in front of a screen.

My students are 4-year-olds, turning 5 in a Gen Ed TK classroom. There is a mixture of abilities and skills, but all students should feel confident regardless of where they are ability-wise. They need equipment that is developmentally appropriate for them.
