Get Moving! Fun & Games for Kindergarten Recess

My Project

I love how energetic, curious, and eager to explore my kindergarteners are each day. They bring so much joy and excitement into our classroom, and recess is one of their favorite times to learn in a different way. Recess gives them the chance to practice teamwork, cooperation, and problem solving while also staying active and healthy.

With new equipment such as balls, a ball pump, toss and catch sets, skip-its, and a cornhole set, my students will have a wider variety of ways to play.

These resources will encourage them to try new activities, build coordination, and develop important gross motor skills. Having engaging and fun recess options helps students release energy, learn to play fairly, and return to the classroom ready to focus and do their best learning.
