My Project

Young children develop and learn best in environments that meet their sensory, social, and emotional needs. Our classroom serves diverse learners, including those with special needs and processing differences. Many of our students in TK benefit from sensory supports to help regulate emotions, manage energy, and engage in learning. I am requesting sensory floor tiles, scoop rockers, weighted animals, and other sensory items.

Without these supports, students may experience frustration, difficulty focusing, and challenges with inclusion.

The goal of this project is to provide students with the sensory tools they need to make the learning environment equitable and inclusive of all unique learners and create a strong foundation for school readiness.
