Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are passionate, determined, and resilient young athletes who thrive on teamwork and school pride. They represent our school in various sports, working hard on and off the field to grow both as athletes and individuals. However, many of our teams face financial challenges when it comes to uniforms, which are essential for creating a sense of unity and belonging.

This project will provide team hoodies for all athletic teams as part of their uniforms.

These hoodies are more than just clothing—they are a symbol of identity, pride, and team spirit. When students wear their team hoodies, they feel connected to one another and represent our school with confidence. Wearing the same uniform helps reinforce discipline, camaraderie, and a collective mindset that contributes to success in sports and academics alike.

The goal of this project is to ensure that every student-athlete, regardless of financial background, can proudly wear a hoodie that identifies them as part of a team. We want our students to feel supported and unified, knowing they are a valued part of something bigger than themselves.

What makes my students special is their resilience and drive. Many come from challenging circumstances, yet they show up every day with enthusiasm and a commitment to improve. They embody the true spirit of teamwork, supporting one another through victories and setbacks. These hoodies will give them a tangible reminder that they belong, they matter, and they are champions in their own right.
