My Project

My students are curious, thoughtful, and eager to connect what they learn in class to the world around them. They bring energy and unique perspectives to our classroom community, and I want to give them opportunities to explore ideas through reading and discussion.

Having more books in our classroom library will allow us to launch meaningful book clubs, where students can choose from a variety of engaging texts that match their interests and reading levels.

These book clubs not only build reading skills, but also encourage collaboration, critical thinking, and the joy of sharing ideas with peers.

The books I am requesting will also support our study of history and social issues. By reading diverse stories, my students will gain a deeper understanding of different cultures, time periods, and perspectives. This will help them connect their social studies learning with real human experiences, while also developing empathy and awareness of the world around them.
