My Project

Help give my amazing students the materials and supplies that they need to succeed this school year! My students come from a neighborhood on the south side of Chicago with a high degree of poverty and economic disparity. Students often struggle to obtain the basic resources and support necessary for their learning. Despite this, they are hard workers and are willing to take on all challenges in science class.

The highlighters, pencils, and ticket holders will allow students to engage in analysis of scientific texts and written argumentation throughout the year.

The pocket charts, doorbell, and folders will allow implementation of small group inquiry labs and individualized instruction in my science classroom. Your support will ensure that they have the resources they need for a great start to the school year and can instead focus on their learning!
