My Project

I am a passionate second grade teacher who believes in the power of fun and interactive learning. My philosophy is simple: let kids be kids. I’ve seen firsthand how having fun while learning can make education more impactful and memorable for young minds.

This project aims to bring flexible seating options to our classroom, creating a more diverse, dynamic and engaging learning environment!

Flexible seating allows students to choose their seating style, whether it's wobble stools or rocker chairs. This freedom helps them stay focused, engaged, and comfortable, fostering a sense of ownership and responsibility in their education.

The benefits of flexible seating are immense. It accommodates various learning styles, promotes collaboration, and encourages movement, which is essential for young children. Studies have shown that when students are given the autonomy to choose their seating, they become more engaged and motivated to learn. It also helps to reduce anxiety and disruptive behavior, creating a more positive and productive classroom atmosphere.

This project will make a tremendous difference in our classroom, providing a supportive and stimulating environment where every child can thrive! Thank you for your consideration!
