My Project

My students are a fun and active group of second graders in San Ramon, CA. I have 21 students all unique in their learning styles and modalities. All students need multiple tools to keep them motivated and focused during this critical year of learning.

My students are active and enthusiastic learners who are becoming more independent and responsible.

Providing ample opportunities for students to take ownership of their learning is one of my goals in my classroom.

I strive to create a dynamic and engaging learning environment where students can develop a deep understanding of mathematics. With your generous support, we can provide essential teaching supplies and resources that will foster learner-centered, student-owned deep mathematical thinking and learning. By implementing rich mathematics tasks and optimal practices for thinking, we can transform our classrooms into ideal settings for deep mathematics learning to occur.

Your donation will help us provide privacy folders and easel pads, which will enhance our students' engagement with hands-on activities and learning stations. Together, we can empower our students to become confident and successful mathematicians.
