My Project

The students at our school have interests in learning instruments, especially piano. They listen to songs in and out of school with piano being played in them and are curious to play. The also use a great deal of technology to self teach popular songs. So far, the piano classes have doubled in size! Students are interested in taking piano lessons during school and after school. Although students are on multiple levels, these resources will keep the interest of students enrolled in the classes, challenge beginning level students, and cultivate intermediate to advance level students to be successful in our class. These resources will increase engagement in the piano classroom with exposure to familiar songs all while teaching the fundamentals of piano techniques.
