My Project

I absolutely love how curious and eager my fourth graders are to explore new ways of learning. They come to school each day with excitement, ready to tackle new challenges. Many of my students thrive when they have the opportunity to be creative and work with hands-on tools, but our classroom lacks the resources to explore music fully. This is why I’m asking for musical instruments like a piano keyboard, steel tongue drum, and xylophone.

These instruments will give my students a chance to explore rhythm, sound, and melody in a tactile way, which is especially helpful for those who learn best through movement and active participation.

The piano keyboard will introduce them to melody and harmony, while the drums and xylophones will help them experience rhythm and teamwork.

My goal is to inspire confidence, encourage self-expression, and foster teamwork through the shared joy of music. Every student has unique talents, and these resources will provide an inclusive way for them to shine. Many of my students don’t have access to musical instruments at home, so this project will allow them to experience the joy of creating music together—something I believe will have a lasting impact on their learning and self-esteem.

My students are special because they bring enthusiasm and creativity to everything they do, and with your support, we can help them discover the magic of music!
