it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My class has been truly engaged in learning this year. I often incorporate BrainPOP into my lessons but my subscription will be ending soon. A donation towards a renewal subscription to BrainPOP and BrainPOP Jr. will help keep my students engaged as they watch videos about famous Americans, like Grace Hopper, George Washington Carver or special Native American celebrations and traditions. We will have discussions about the topics we are learning and recall the facts that are provided in the videos. On some mornings I will use the mindfulness and SEL part of BrainPOP to bring awareness to different ways we may feel during a day. We have used it for science and watched energy source videos which then helped get a deeper understanding of the lesson we were working on. I plan to continue using BrainPOP to reinforce lessons that we are already learning.
