My Project
Many of my students do not get access to any real-world reading. They don't have knowledge of events and things that impact and form the world.
Having access to Time for Kids will give them the ability to learn about things in the way adults do. TFK will also provide more access to nonfiction text which is always an area 4th graders struggle. There are many new vocabulary words, text features, and new concepts in nonfiction. The more access they have to a variety of nonfiction materials the more growth they can make.
