My Project

Help make my classroom library exciting and appealing to my new students! Building a strong and successful relationship with reading is so important to my middler schoolers, and I want to make sure I have all of the tools that I need to support them. Having engaging, diverse, and exciting book titles to choose from will help get books in their hands quickly and easily.

My students will be encouraged to read daily this year, and they will have the ability to pick books from my classroom library that interest them.

The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading. My sixth grade students typically show an astonishing interest in independent reading, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word by offering them new titles. I selected topics and main characters that I have found to be high interest to my grade level. I have even selected some books about Greek and Roman mythology to pair with our History studies.
