Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With the items that would be received if funded, my students will be able to deepen their yoga skills and practice mindfulness through guided meditation and journaling. When high schoolers have the opportunity to let go of stress and be in the moment, they have the opportunity to improve their overall wellness. Let’s give them the chance to reset in a positive and healthy manner with hopes that they continue their yoga and meditation beyond their high school years. Giving the students the skills at this age will help them as the move on in the future.
