My Project

I am starting a new adventure teaching 5th grade after being transferred from junior high. Many of my current classroom novels are for older students, so I am working on providing age appropriate books in my new room.

My goal for having a rich classroom library is to encourage students to enjoy reading for fun so they can become successful life-long learners.

By having an in-class library with a wide variety of books at multiple grade levels, I hope to support students in their literacy journey so they can truly believe that reading is fun.

I have not met my students yet but I am excited for us to start this new journey together!
