My Project

My students work incredibly hard to reach high academic standards and hold themselves to high expectations outside of the classroom. Day in and day out, I watch the pressures of being a middle schooler weigh on them. Activities like brain breaks and board games support my SEL for my students. As I continue to learn more about SEL in the classroom, I believe students need opportunities to take a much-deserved break! These games will allow me to host game sessions during tutorials and lunch.

Games are not only fun but also good for the brain, helping to sharpen focus, increase concentration, and teach the value of teamwork.

I want to give my students the opportunity to kick back, relax, and enjoy middle school. This also allows my students to socialize and connect. These games also allow students to use critical thinking, self-awareness, social awareness, support relational skills, and foster responsible decisions.
