Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The main purpose of this project is to help me create the BEST classroom environment for my 7th graders. I am always thinking of different ways I can be supporting all of my students from all walks of life. I try and use different manipulatives to different projects so I can give them the opportunities to flourish in the best possible way they can.

We do several group projects where they work in different groups for example, my favorite, making connections.

In this project they come together in groups of 4-5 students. They each get 4-5 vocabulary words that we have gone over up until that point in the year. They then come together after mastering their words and make connections with other words my drawing and writing examples on a big poster board.
