My Project

All of our students live in an urban setting so most of of them don't have experience with gardening. However, they've developed an interest in learning all they can about it. Our students will need to nurture our classroom garden and it will motivate them to work collaboratively, while connecting with nature.

Creating a space in the classroom for our classroom garden will help students develop critical thinking skills and foster reading and writing skills based on their interest.

Our classroom garden will inspire students to conduct research, plan, observe and write about the processes involved in planting.
