My Project

Our middle school is a Title I school, with 100% of our students coming from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. For many of our students, sports are not just an extracurricular activity, but a lifeline that offers structure, team-building, and an opportunity for personal growth. Our girls’ basketball team is no exception, and despite their passion, they face significant barriers in accessing the necessary resources to thrive. The team is in desperate need of essential basketball equipment, including proper footwear, which would allow them to practice and compete with the same confidence and dignity as other teams.

These young athletes demonstrate immense dedication, attending practice after school and showing up to games with enthusiasm and a drive to succeed.

However, without the proper gear, they often struggle to perform at their best, which not only impacts their game performance but also affects their sense of pride and belonging on the team. With your support, we can provide them with shoes that provide the necessary support for safe play. These items are fundamental to building their skills, fostering teamwork, and encouraging their growth as both athletes and individuals.

By donating to our project, you’re not just providing equipment – you’re investing in their future. These girls are learning life skills like discipline, resilience, and leadership, which they will carry with them beyond the basketball court. Your generosity will empower these students to build confidence, work together as a team, and create lasting memories in a safe and supportive environment. We truly believe that with the right resources, they can accomplish incredible things, both on and off the court. Thank you for helping us make this possible.
