My Project

The maker's movement has the potential to give my students the tools they need to move them from passive users to active creators. Making will encourage them to step outside of their comfort zone and learn from their mistakes. To begin our library makerspace, I am requesting materials that will be used to spark design with handcrafts and stop-motion equipment. Kids benefit from tactile experiences. The library supports student interest-based projects, these tools will extend that purpose by letting them realize their concepts. These tools will provide hands-on learning opportunities for our 1100+ students.
