My Project

Students need hands-on experiences to understand geometric properties and to appreciate their relevance. Students will use the builder's transit to apply Geometric principles such as the Law of Sines and the Law of Cosines to real-life problems: laying out planer angles and measuring the height or width of an object indirectly by measuring vertical and horizontal angles.

These techniques teach geometry concepts and can be used in future careers, including construction, Civil Engineering, land surveying, natural resource conservation, emergency management, and the military.

It will also help them as DIYers.
