My Project

I teach Physical Education (PE) to a wonderful, active group of kindergarten through fifth grade students in a close knit community in the Bay Area. Developing fine and gross motor skills and learning teamwork through play are so important for this age range and something we work on every week!

We really need to refresh our collection of quality sports and motor development equipment that are appropriate for our young students!

The wide variety of equipment from this project would make a huge difference for our students and would allow us to really expand the activities during our daily PE sessions. I've included lots of open ended equipment, such as a variety of balls, that can be used for so many different games that all children can participate in. Not only would this equipment impact our current student body, but I know we would take great care of everything so it can be enjoyed by incoming classes in the coming years as well.
