My Project

We need help growing our English Development Classroom so our Multilingual Learners of all grade levels get hands-on experience that supports our designated curriculum and builds confidence in learning. All requested materials directly support our Language Power Lessons which cover grades K-5 in six different language levels.

In order to bring lessons to life with visuals and manipulatives, I'm requesting materials that will help students learn fundamentals including shapes, phonemic awareness, and vocabulary and speaking skills, as well as to extend science and cultural lessons.

I'm requesting puzzles, games, cvc boards, 3D shapes, and vocabulary cards to help learn basics. I'm requesting a book by Huda Essa to go with the lesson on American Immigrants. I'm also requesting craft supplies to make Papel Picado, Chinese New Year dragons, and musical instruments. Finally, I am requesting cheese cloth to do a lab to study eroding earth, and other science-related materials to help us take an in-depth look at animal homes and biomes (including sensory bins), animal life cycles, and study our five senses.
