Hot Plates Matter

Help me give my students 2 more hot plates to allow more hands on all of our labs labs. This will allow us to use 1 hot plate for every 4 students instead of every 8.

My Project

Our school is in need of 8 more hot plates in order to successfully run all of our chemistry labs. This project will reduce that need by 2 and allow us to have smaller lab groups experience hot plates.

Currently the hot plates we have only allow for 2 classes to use hot plates at a time.

With a few more, all three 7th grade classes and both 6th grade classes can tackle chemistry at the same time. Currently we need to reduce the number of labs so that every class can do 1 lab. With more hot plates we could allow multiple attempts at using the equipment.

My students are all so excited to use the equipment and actually do the science themselves, I would love to use my chemistry background to give them more labs without being limited by the equipment.
