My Project

This academic year, my students have displayed an authentic eagerness to engage with one another and collaborate on a multitude of projects. Witnessing this spirit of collaboration has been uplifting and inspiring. However, in mathematics, some students seem to feel apprehensive about making mistakes or comparing their strategies to their peers.

To address this, I've introduced the "Building Thinking Classroom in Mathematics" method with vertical boards, despite budget constraints.

Repurposing plexiglass from online learning as whiteboards has proven cost-effective for collaborative math problem-solving. To enhance this approach, I am seeking neon dry-erase markers for better visibility and engagement in math lessons.

I'm thrilled by my students' increased collaboration but am dedicated to overcoming math-related challenges. The introduction of the "Building Thinking Classroom" method, creative use of plexiglass, and neon markers underscore my commitment to an inclusive and engaging learning environment where all my students can thrive and find meaning in mathematics.

Thank you for your support as I explore these innovative approaches.
