Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our library is a place where students come to learn, grow, and connect with their peers. However, learning doesn't just happen through traditional lessons; it can also occur through play and social interaction! I'm seeking support to acquire a variety of engaging games and activities, including giant games, playing cards, and chess, Rubix cubes, LEGOS with LEGO base plates, Jenga sets, and storage bins to keep everything organized.
These resources will provide our students with opportunities to develop critical thinking skills, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities while fostering a sense of community in our library.
By incorporating these fun and interactive activities into library program, I aim to create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students can thrive academically and socially.
