My Project

"Creativity is intelligence having fun!" Fostering creativity builds critical thinking and problem-solving skills, helping my learners prepare for future success. My goal is to implement, and now to boost, the quality of our site's Maker Space. We started small, with just a few maker kits, art supplies, and strategic activities. This year, we are ready to step it up a notch, and hopefully, incorporate a Cricut machine to support creativity.

Students are interested in the design process and creating and publishing for authentic audiences.

The Cricut machine will streamline this process, save time, and engage students in designing projects of which they can be proud.

The Cricut will not only benefit all of the students while they visit the STEAM lab, but will also be available to support student clubs and organizations. The creative potential will be unlocked for students and educators.
