This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school Wellness Room is a dedicated space designed to promote the physical and emotional well-being of our students and staff. Our students and staff are eager to join this safe space within the 23/24 school year. They look forward to sitting in the comfortable chairs at the table while sharing their feelings, and a rug to soften their landing during crisis.

Our wellness room is a calming, welcoming, and supportive environment intended to serve as a hub for fostering overall wellness.

Many of our students experience heightened levels of stress and anxiety and require a safe space to explore and work through a myriad of emotions.
