My Project

Hi!

Each year, we provide services to a number of students who have ADHD and other learning differences.

The typical noises of their classrooms can be overwhelming, and make it even harder for them to organize their thoughts. In the past, we've given out regular noise-cancelling headphones, but they are big and bulky and it makes the students stand out like a sore thumb amongst their peers. I would love to be able to provide them with noise-cancelling ear-buds that they can wear in the classroom that won't draw attention to their learning differences.

I would also like to provide them with these specialized slant boards. We use make-shift slant boards out of old binders and binder clips, but these slant boards are sleek and much less cumbersome. Using a slant board is ergonomic, and makes it much easier for our students with fine motor challenges to write legibly.
