My Project

Half the work of doing wheel-based ceramics is the trimming - cleaning up the base and smoothing the rough greenware - before going to the kiln for the bisque fire. We don’t have much time in class, and setting up for trimming without a Griffin Grip slows us down. A lot. This device makes setup for trimming almost instantaneous, taking pressure off of the time we have to work with.

We have tried other devices, but the Grip works the best, is super-easy for students to use, and is reliable and strong, with lots of options.

It’s our best choice and saves us a lot of time and hassle.
