This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach English Language Learners at a title one school. Most of my students are struggling readers that typically don't like to read. My mission is to help students develop a love for reading. These books will help them identify with characters that will help inspire them. I plan to use these books in my class library and encourage all students to read.
My goal is to allow students to discover a new world through reading.
Once they find stories they can identify with, I know they will fall in love with reading!
