This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come from low socioeconomic backgrounds where fine motor skills are not established. In the past few years I have noticed their hands are in a fist grip so I am looking at new ways for them to use their fingers. These magnetic boards encourage the children to use eye hand coordination.
These will be used for centers, small group instruction, and individual instruction.
Each of these boards is specific to pre-k TEKS. The maze race works in pairs to encourage student collaboration with each other. Let's loosen up these fingers!
